DiNGLife sent us some promo codes so we could check out their sweet products. They make custom decals for your electronic toys – your cell phone, mp3 layer, laptop, Xbox, whatever. They stick right on, and when you’re ready for a new one you just peel your old one off like Colorforms. The benefit to having a DiNG on your stuff, however, is that it saves your device from scratches, dings (heh, play on words), and the ever-harmful sunshine. Here’s what we thought:
Liz:
Check it out!
My tiny camera doesn’t do it justice, and I wasn’t able to put the DiNG on myself because I lack patience and eye-hand coordination, but I am very happy with the result. I picked an Asian flowery theme DiNG and my patient and quick-handed Hubs put it on the phone for me. It’s still on there, and I love that my phone looks pretty. I don’t like that I picked a pattern that blends into the pattern of the lining of practically every bag I own, therefore camouflaging the phone like it’s some sort of slim technological wizard, but that’s not DiNGlife’s fault, right? Also, it makes my phone look smaller, and therefore feel better about itself. It has increased my phone’s self esteem.
Angie:
I hate my phone! It’s old, bashed up, out of date & has absolutely nothing cool about it, as far as features go. It’s been dropped, scratched, sat on, thrown up on & once had a close encounter at the bottom of my toilet bowl…hey, I got a kid…I cleaned it thoroughly, trust me. It’s not that I can’t afford a new one, but I do have a budget I need to work with.
Well, I received my Ding Life skin from www.dinglife.com It was made to fit my ugly phone perfectly. (To be honest, I couldn’t believe they carried a skin for my tiny ancient phone style.) Needless to say I wasted no time slapping it on. I cleaned my phone off with the handy cleaning cloth they provided for me & got to work. I was worried I would have trouble getting this glorious label onto my phone, but I had no trouble lining it up at all. Must have been because it was squeaky clean…I do not have the steady hands of a surgeon. Or it was simply that easy to apply, no directions necessary, although, they were provided. Once I had it on, it looked like a new phone. It was gleaming & colorful & made me smile!! I’ve received compliments on it, my son thinks it’s the bomb & my boyfriend wants one of the Pin-Up girls for his phone ASAP. I feel a little different about my nasty old phone now. I think I can handle using it until it literally falls apart in my hands. Momma always said “why throw something perfectly good away when you can clean it up & make it your own”…of course, she was talking about dumpster diving, but it translates the same. I’ll probably get one for my future phone too & change it’s look when it suits me. Pretty darn pleased!

Stickers make you smile….I don’t think anyone can really dispute that. For the rocker types like me Dinglife.com makes the ultimate smile ammo. The folks over there have contacted some of the best artists on the planet to provide affordable art for your …whatever. The crew at Dinglife.com have kidnapped enough engineers to insure your slick wrap fits your device exactly and if they left your new pad, phone, player, etc, out then just ask…they’ll fit you in. I normally try to offer a counterpoint but there simply isn’t anything bad to say about Dinglife.com.
Ding has tons of selections to choose from, their price is beyond fair, and the product is easy to apply. Dinglife.com is a star example of why this website started. The wraps fit perfectly and true to what I would guess is the core demo… easily removed and replaced like the bands on the Billboard charts. “Dear Dinglife, can I have a lifetime supply?”
