Micah here!! – Liz normally writes these introductory paragraphs but she is super busy being awesome!!! I came across Boardpushers because I love anything you can get custom made. It’s amazing to me that we can express our individuality not only in the way we dress, speak, think, and love, but now with the power of the internet we can make products that also express that individuality. For the computer challenged Boardpusher offers a whole bunch of boards you can purchase “off the shelf”. For those that are slightly more savvy they offer a wonderful interface where you can design your very own unique deck. Much like walking into your local skate shop Boardpusher offers all sorts of sizes and types of decks…..except now you are the designer. Check out the super awesome Cool Consumer deck we made! What makes Boardpusher “cool” is the people. When I called them to write this article they we’re so friendly and helpful. I’m sure that kind customer service easily translates to the next Tony Hawk designing his first deck.
Liz’s note – we wanted to do a Travelocity Gnome type thing where we had pictures of the awesome skate deck near national monuments, near the Taj Mahal, solving world peace, etc. But, this is the best we could do. We brought it to a party at my house. More may follow, with the world peace and the national monuments.
